ACTIVATION ERROR: This Computer Is Already Activated

Q: What does the "ACTIVATION ERROR: THIS COMPUTER IS ALREADY ACTIVATED" error mean?

A: This error typically occurs when there's a discrepancy between the license file on your system and the records on our license server. It may happen if the server times out during the activation or deactivation process, leaving an outdated license file on your computer OR if the computer has a license that is activated under a different account. 


How to Resolve the Issue:

  1. Locate the License File:

    • On a Mac: Navigate to ~/Library/Application Support/Korneff Audio/"Plug-in Name".
    • On a PC: Go to C:\Users\"your user name"\Appdata\Roaming\Korneff Audio\"Plug-in Name.
  2. Delete the License File:

    • Find the file named "Plug-in Name".license.
    • Delete this file from the folder.
  3. Reactivate the Software:

    • After deleting the license file, try activating your software again.
