Why are my presets missing?
Sometimes, presets don’t appear because of a permissions issue or a corrupted user preset folder. Don’t worry—this is easy to fix.
How do I fix it?
Step 1 – Locate the Preset Folder
-
On Windows (PC):
Go to:C:\Users\[Your Username]\AppData\Roaming\Korneff Audio\[Plugin Name]\
Replace [Your Username] with your Windows account name, and [Plugin Name] with the plugin you’re using.
-
On macOS:
-
Open Finder.
-
In the menu bar, click Go.
-
Hold down the Option (Alt) key and select Library.
-
Navigate to:
~/Library/Application Support/Korneff Audio/[Plugin Name]/
Replace [Plugin Name] with the actual plugin name.
-
Step 2 – Delete the User Presets Folder
Inside the plugin folder, delete the entire User Presets folder.
Step 3 – Relaunch Your DAW
Open your DAW and load the plugin again.
The presets will automatically re-extract and appear in the plugin.
What if it doesn’t work?
-
Make sure your user account has read/write permissions for the folder above.
-
If permissions are blocked, the plugin may not be able to extract the presets. Fixing the folder’s permissions usually solves this.
After following these steps, your presets should be restored.
